Nancy Gloria Faircloth Courtoy, 64, of Tifton died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at her residence, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Eastside Baptist Church. Dr. Greg Love will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mark Faircloth, Scotty Love, Chris Hudgins, Dusty Cone, Willis Marchant and Randall Carr will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Advantage Realty, Douglas-Coffee County Board of Realtors and the Tiftarea Board of Realtors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Courtoy will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service at Eastside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Courtoy was born on October 30, 1947 in Tifton and was the daughter of Calvin Faircloth and Janie Hobby Faircloth, both deceased. She was the administrative executive for the Douglas-Coffee County Board of Realtors and secretary for Advantage Realty in Tifton. She was a member of the National Association of Board of Realtors and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Tifton.
Mrs. Courtoy is survived by her husband, Randall Courtoy of Tifton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Matthew E. and Kathyrn Courtoy of Marietta and Shaun M. Courtoy of Tifton; one brother, Eddie Faircloth of Palm Coast, Florida; and two grandsons, Jackson R. Courtoy of Tifton and Cooper M. Courtoy of Marietta.
