Leonard A. Breault, Jr., died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the age of 72 years old at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. Mr. Breault was born on March 29, 1940 in North Granville, NY and was the son of Leonard A. Breault, Sr. and Anna (Maycon) Breault.
Leonard is a veteran of the Vietnam War, he earned several medals, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, and Vietnam Service Medals and other commendations for his dedication and bravery. Leonard served in the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force and retired 24 years of military service. Leonard continued serving his country as a federal service employee for an additional 20 years under the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of the Army.
Leonard was a Mason and served as a Past Master for Fidelitas Lodge No. 830, Past Patron for the Order of the Eastern Star for Hope Chapter No. 6, Shriner and member of the American Legion and DAV.
Survivors include his wife, Oksu Breault of Woodlawn, TN; his children Donna, Mark, and Michael (Lorraine) Breault of New York, Susan (Dennis) Hadrick of Virginia, Deborah (Mike) Barrachina and Margueritte Baker of New York; his brothers, Kenny, Arthur, Dale and Malcolm Breault; sisters, Betty Winchell, Vivian Norton and Mary Joseph; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Besides his parents, brothers, Duane Breault, Stephen Breault and sister, Colleen Johnson died preceded in death. Leonard loved his family and his country.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Kang officiating. Visitation on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 5-8 P.M. and Friday, June 22, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with Full Military Honors and the military will serve as pallbearers.
