Obituary

WORCESTER-Lawrence R. Boucher, 68 of Worcester died Friday, April 30th in UMass Hospital. His wife Gail C. (Wellwood) Boucher died in 1988. He leaves 2 sons, Lawrence R. Boucher, Jr. of Auburn and Joseph P. Boucher of Oxford, 3 daughters, Carolyn A. Latham of Oxford, Susan L. Boucher and Joyce L. Beams both of Worcester, 3 brothers, Fernand Boucher of Worcester, Raymond Boucher of Leicester and Regent Boucher of Shrewsbury, a step-sister Lucille Dolci of San Jose, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, his companion of 11 years Janet Olson of Holden,many nephews, nieces and close friends. 2 brothers Albert Boucher and Herman Boucher predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of Paul O. and Elmire (Bourget) Boucher. Mr. Boucher had worked for Wyman-Gordon, Astra Pharmaceutical and retired March 1st as building superintendent at the Printer’s Building. He was a member of the Wachusett Greenways Club and the Audubon Society.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 5th at 11:00 AM in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. A gathering following the graveside service will be in the Knights of Columbus, 91 Manville Street, Leceister. Please omit flowers and make contributions to the Massachusetts Audubon Society, 414 Massasoit Road, Worcester, MA 01604. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
