TAUNTON – Virginia M. Bezok, beloved wife of William Bezok, died at her Taunton home on June 11, 2012.
She was 82.
Born and raised in Taunton, the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Souza) Souza, she was a 1948 graduate of Taunton High School.
Virginia was employed by Swank, Inc. for thirty-eight years before retiring in 1991.
A communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church, “Ginny” loved spending time with her family, enjoyed Atlantic City Casinos, bingo, and watching all Boston sports teams.
Besides her husband of fifty-six years, she leaves three daughters, Charlene Shea of Lakeville, Sheila Trayner of Inverness, FL and Cheri Adkins of Taunton; a son, William Bezok, Jr. of Taunton; a sister, Lillian Infinger of Hanahan, SC; a brother, Manuel Souza of Wellington, FL; six granddaughters, Ashley, Amanda and Alyssa Shea, Brittany Bezok, and twins Lyla and Scarlett Adkins; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, on Saturday June 16th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of the Lord Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 15th from 5 to 8 p.m.
