Elaine M. (Casella) Diettrich, a life long Medford resident, died peacefully at home in the company of her loving family. She was 70.
Elaine was born and raised in Medford, the daughter of the late Guy and the late Melba (Brackett) Casella. For most of her life, Elaine worked in the ceramics business and for the past 25 years operated her own studio, Cozy Corner Ceramics. The beloved wife of the late Ernest, Elaine was a devoted mother to Curt Diettrich and his wife Sandra of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Sarah, Curt, Jr., Joshua and a dear sister to Frederick Casella of Nevada, George Casella and his wife Carol, Marilyn Insogna and her husband Matthew all of Medford and Charles Casella and his wife Elaine of Falmouth. Elaine also leaves many dear nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday June 15th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service in the West Medford Baptist Church, 59 Boston Avenue at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home Thursday 4 - 8.
