Michael T. Cote, 57, of New Bedford died Friday June 8, 2012 at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Mary Doris Beatrice (Goulet) and Joseph A. Cote, Jr. , he lived in Fairhaven for most of his life.
He was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church, where he was very active and helpful to his Church family and others. He was known to friends and co-workers as "Preacher."
He enjoyed music and playing guitar.
Survivors include five children, Crystal Cote-Campos and her husband Sergio, Faith M. Cote Ferry, Jordan S. Cote, Jeremiah P. Cote and Jacob D. Cote; his siblings, Lillian Tobin, Beatrice Serena, Patricia Paulino, Gerri Bonas, Jeanne Martin, Joseph Cote, and Mark Cote; his former wife, Gina Andrade; two grandchildren, Alijah Cote and Zoey Ferry; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Joseph A. Cote.
His Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM prior to the Service.
