Joan A. (Vincent) Ballard, 75, of Tiverton, RI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 9, 2012. She was wife of the late Edmond H. Ballard.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite (Banville) Vincent. Mrs. Ballard was a Communicant of St. Christopher Church, Tiverton.
Survivors include a brother: Anthony “Sonny” Vincent of Acushnet; 3 sisters: Carol Mercier of Westport, Eileen Devlin of Tiverton and Carole Robertshaw of AL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Pauline Simmons.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Christopher Church, Tiverton at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-10 A.M. prior to the funeral.
Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI.
