Domenic Spinale, age 70, of Medford passed away Thursday, April 29th, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford following a lengthy illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Maria (Passanisi) and Joseph Spinale. He was the beloved husband of Grace (Tolson) Spinale. Domenic was a Medford resident for over forty years formerly of Boston´ s West End. He worked for 25 years with Associated Press and also worked for many years as an accountant at the Jamaica Plain Veterans Administration Hospital. Over the the years he enjoyed playing softball and basketball with coworkers in Dorchester.
In addition to his beloved wife Grace, He is survived by four children, Robert of Everett, Richard of Medford, Donna Reardon of Gloucester and Ronald of Medford. He is also survived by eight loving grandchildren and is further survived by his brothers, James Spinale of Somerville and Richard Spinale of Arlington. He is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Spinale.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 main St. Medford, Monday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford/Somerville at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
