HAMPTON BEACH, NH-Ethel M. (Murphy) Gleason, 92 of 10 Harris Avenue formerly of 81 Florence Street, Worcester died Friday, February 22nd in Port Rehabilitation Center, Newburyport after an illness. Her husband, Maurice E. “Eddie” Gleason died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Eileen H. Daboul of Hampton Beach, NH; a sister, May Delsignore of Holden; a grandson and several nieces and nephews. 2 brothers, Arthur and Charles Murphy both predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester daughter of Eugene and Eva (Hinckley) Murphy and lived in Worcester many years before moving to New Hampshire. She was a former member of St. Peter’s Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.
The funeral will be Monday, February 25th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Worcester. Calling hours will be Sunday, February 24th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
