Helen M. Moses, 81, Woodridge, N.Y., died at home on Monday. She was the wife of John S. Moses for 60 years.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Spegar of Blakely. She graduated from Blakely High School in 1948.
She married John in 1951, and had five children, Stephen, Sue, Judy, John and Peter. She was an at-home mom, demanding, yet loving. Her children have been near all their lives.
Besides her and children, Helen is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; three siblings, Maggie and Mike from Blakely; and Matilda from Albuquerque, N.M.
A sister, Monica, also predeceased her in 2008.
Viewing will take place at the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home, 129 Grant St., Olyphant, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Funeral services will take place at noon in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Blakely, followed by a reception at the Regal Room in Olyphant.
