Rodney "Scooter" Robinson, age 51, of Groton, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London.
Scooter was born in Westerly on August 30, 1953 to Harold and Thelma Robinson. He was a member of the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation.
He is survived by his sons, Damian of new Jersey and Reginald of Groton, 4 brothers, Michael, Russell, Mark Wayne, and Roger Robinson, his former companions, Mary Nichols and Noelle Scotty Henderson, a grandson, Rohan Lee Robinson, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and relatives.
His family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic on Monday from 2-3pm, immediately followed by a service at 3pm. Burial is private.
