Obituary

BUDREAU, William R. “Bill”, of Winthrop, retired Director of Employee Relations for the Shawmut Bank and a Justice of the Peace, died at the age of 81 on June 3. 2012. Bill leaves his wife Priscilla H. (Fowlie) “Sue” Budreau. Sons J. Kenison Budreau and his wife Elaine of Needham, James Budreau and his wife Donna of Jamaica Plain, and a daughter Aimee Boudrow and her husband Tim of Winthrop. He was the cherished grandfather of 6. Mr. Budreau was a member of the Cottage Park Yacht Club, the Massachusetts Assn. of the Justices of the Peace, and the Pets and People Foundation. He was a graduate of Dean Academy, Northeastern University, and completed his graduate work at Boston University. He served as a 2nd Class Petty Officer with the U. S. Coast Guard from 1951-1954. Bill might be remembered for his dry wit, love of family, dogs, and writing poetry.
