Jesse James Snyder, Sr., 57, of Woodlawn, TN, died on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on March 16, 1955 in Clarksville, TN to James Snyder and Katherine Hutchison Snyder. He was preceded in death by his father, James Snyder and a sister, Candy Lanway.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will be in Smith-Austin Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4-8 PM and Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 10 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Jesse was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and older brother to his family. He was also a member of Excel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Katherine Cook of Woodlawn, TN; step-father, Billy Cook, Sr.; wife, Connie Snyder of Woodlawn, TN; son, Jesse Snyder, Jr. (Kelly) of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Earl Snyder (Karen), Billy Cook (Patty), and Mark Cook (Stephanie) of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Cookie Wallace of Clarksville, TN, Patricia Durr of Ashley, IL, and Carolyn Gray of Nashville, TN; grandmother, Christine James of Nashville, TN; and three grandchildren, Justin Snyder, Jonathan Snyder, and Jeremy Snyder.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
