Sandra Gayle Taylor Downs, 42, of Tifton died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Salone Green will officiate with burial to follow in Beulah Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Adel. Andy Douglas, Charlie Mathis, Josh Taylor, Joe Kelley, Levi Douglas, William Boyd, Lee Lewis and Michael Lewis will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Junes 7, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Downs was born on August 23, 1969 in Turner County and was the daughter of Darrell Carlton Taylor and Grace Elizabeth Lewis Taylor, both of Ocilla.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Downs is survived by one son, Bradley Kennedy of Nashville; two sisters, Melinda Milliones of Tifton and Margaret Welsh of Ocilla; and nieces and nephews, Kristin McMillan, Hope McMillan, Tyler McMillan, Cody Carter, Joey Davis and Grace Davis.
