Mary J. Pineo (Corkery), of Canton, died June 2, 2012 in Caritas Norwood Hospital. She was 76 years old.
Mary was a retired cafeteria worker for the Canton Public Schools. She also worked for F.M. Global in Norwood for several years until retiring in 1993. Mary enjoyed knitting, needlework, and traveling.
Devoted wife of the late Robert O. Pineo Jr. Loving mother of Robert E. Pineo of Cotuit, Patricia E. Perry and her husband Robert of West Bridgewater, and Thomas J. Pineo and his wife Carol of Canton. Loving sister of Patricia Corkery CSJ Holy Name Convent in West Roxbury, Helen M. Corkery of Canton, and Brendan Corkery Maryknoll Missioners. Proud grandmother of Travis Perry, Matthew Pineo, Katherine Pineo, and Luke Pineo.
Visiting hours in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton, Tuesday June 5, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church Washington St., Canton Wednesday at 1030 AM. Interment Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
