WESTON: Ruth R. (Wilson) Bulwinkle, 92, died peacefully in the care and comfort of her family on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her residence in Weston.
She was born in Boston on April 8, 1920 the daughter of the late Axel Daniel Wilson and Rosalie Elizabeth (Peterson) Wilson.
She is survived by her husband George E. Bulwinkle, Jr. of Weston. Ruth was the mother of Sarah A. Bulwinkle of Pepperell; George E. Bulwinkle, III of Media, PA; Mark E. Bulwinkle of Oakland, CA; and Suzanne C. Franklin of Hebron, CT. Sister of Constance Ward of Arlington. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Ruth has been a resident of Weston for over 72 years and previously resided in Arlington. She was a graduate of Arlington High School and received her degree from Bryant and Stratton in Boston. For many years she was the Executive Administrative Assistant for Hayes Pump and Machinery in Concord before retiring. She loved the outdoors, swimming and spending time along the coast of Maine.
At the request of her family services will be private.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests that memorial gifts in Ruth’s memory may be sent to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, 200 Westboro Road, North Grafton, MA 01536 and would be appreciated.
