Obituary

Mr. Ernest W. Milot, of Taunton, passed away Wednesday, May 30 at his residence following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla (Aranjo) Milot. He was born 58 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Ernest A. “Pop” and Eleanor (Karol) Milot. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Ernie owned and operated Pop’s Service Station on Broadway in Taunton since 2000, when he assumed the operation from his late father. He was a member of the Black Diamonds Motorcycle Club, the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Club, the Gold Wing Riders Association, and the American Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed motorcycling all of his life, particularly for the last 20 years after meeting his wife, Priss. Ernie took great pride in maintaining his home and yard, and his most treasured trips to visit his cousins on Campobello Island, Canada. Ernie will miss dearly his stepgranddaughter, Ayla, calling “Jaju!” He was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: 1 brother: Edward A. Milot of Taunton; 1 sister: Elaine L. Gerrior of Taunton; 1 stepson: Joseph Aranjo; 1 stepdaughter: Laurie Anne Jackson; 4 stepgrandchildren: Ayla, Jemma, Ruby and Dylan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He had a special bond with his wife’s brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Please omit flowers.
