Genevieve T. (Kocialka) Marzec, age 95, died May 29 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Konstanty and Maryanna (Nicgorska) Kocialka and the wife of the late Joseph T. Marzec who died in 2005 with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Michaels’s Parish and its Holy Rosary Sodality, St. Michael’s PNA Lodge 630, and the Retirees Club and its Bowling league, also GE IUE Bowling League.
She is survived by three daughters, Theresa A. and her late husband, Vincent Serino of Saugus, Constance M. Boyle of St. Petersburg, FL., Janet M and her husband John Polakiewicz of Salem, one son Michael J. and his wife Mary Jo Marzec on Sunland, CA, one sister, Anna Jaglowski of Salem. Beloved grandmother of Anthony, Vincent and his wife Julie, Dean, Beth Serino, Matthew, Benjamin and his wife Leititia and Erin Boyle. Christopher and Jonathan Polakiewicz, Catherine and her husband Andrew Forde./ Also 8 Great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank, Sigmund, Charles Kocialka, Sophie Witkowski, Jane Kawcznska and Stella Bozek.
