Barbara L. Margeson R.N., 84, of Franklin died May 27 in Norwood Hospital.
Born in Franklin, October 20, 1927, the daughter of the late Carl and Christine (Prefremont) Margeson, Miss Margeson was raised in Franklin and had lived in Framingham, West Roxbury , Walpole and Norwood prior to returning to Franklin in 2008.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing.
A Registered Nurse, she had worked at Framingham Union Hospital, the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury and Norwood Hospital.
She was the sister of the late Dorothy Margeson.
She is survived by her dear friends, Patricia A. Blair and Mickey and Millie DeGrazia of Franklin.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday June 2 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. Franklin at 11:00. Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
