Betty Jane (Yolton) Barton 95, formerly of Franklin died May 25 in the Hearthstone Living Center in Marlborough. She was the wife of the late Ralph G. Barton who died in 1990.
Born in Akron, Ohio, December 25, 1916, the daughter of the late John and Mina (Runyon) Yolton, Mrs. Barton lived in Franklin for over 35 years before moving to Hopkinton where she lived for several years prior to moving to Marlborough.
Mrs. Barton had worked as a clerk for the New England Telephone Company for many years and prior to that had worked for ATT in Ohio.
She had been a member of the Pioneers Club of America and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her children, Doreen Sharabati of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, her son Ted Phillips of Cumberland, Rhode Island and her step-children, Ralph Barton of Attleboro, JoAnne Tiberi of Millis, Susan Levigne of New Hampshire and Pamela Bobigian of Arizona.
She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be private with burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
