Rev. Thomas F. Murray-Retired Senior Priest of Mashpee passed away May 26th at the Marion Manor in South Boston. Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston College High School, Boston College and was ordained at St. John’s Seminary on February 2, 1957. Father Murray served as Parochial Vicar at St. Ann in Peabody, Corpus Christi in Auburndale, Saint Pius the Fifth in Lynn, Most Precious Blood in Hyde Park and as Pastor of Sacred Heart in South Natick until his retirement. Brother of Sister Frances Murray C.S.J. of Framingham & the late Sister Aileen Murray C.S.J., Rev. Monsignor Robert Murray and Grace Sexton. Father Murray will lie-in-state at St. John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St. Canton on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend concelebrated Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton, Thursday morning at 11 am. Interment Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline.
