Obituary

Magliozzi, James Anthony (Tony) of Weston, formerly of Arlington, May 26, 2012, age 78. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Judy Nitsch; his sister Marguerite Daisy and her husband Walter Daisy of Concord, NH; predeceased by his sister Lois Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
Tony graduated from Arlington High School and the Boston Architectural College. He was a registered architect. Some of his career highlights included design and construction administration for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Warren (Ohio) Tribune Newspaper Headquarters, the Princeton University Cyclotron, and projects for Eastern Bank and Columbia University Teachers College. In addition to having his own business for many years, he worked for Jim Ritchie & Associates, Hugh Stubbins Associates, Drummey Rosane Anderson, and the Nashoba Regional School District.
Tony loved traveling to Italy and cruising to Alaska, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. He enjoyed martinis and cooking Italian dishes.
Tony served in the Coast Guard for four years and is a Korean War veteran.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 30 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home in Wellesley. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 31 at 11:00 am at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington St, Wellesley, MA. A private interment will be held on Friday, June 1st.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Tony Magliozzi Fund established at the Boston Architectural College, 320 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02115.
