Obituary

PEABODY- Fiorina M. “Flo” (Sciucco) Dziadyk, 84, wife of the late Theodore S. “Ted” Dziadyk, of Peabody, died Friday afternoon, February 22, 2002, in a local nursing home following a short illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Salome (Masci) Sciucco.

Years ago, she was employed at the former Hytron in Salem.

Mrs Dziadyk was a resident of Peabody for most of her life and was a long time parishioner of the St Thomas The Apostle Church.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Theodore R. “Rick” & Katherine Dziadyk of Woburn, two daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores R. “Dolly” and Lawrence F. Grant, and Gloria A. & Edward W. DeFranco, all of Peabody, eleven grandchildren, Glenn and his wife Kimberly Dziadyk of Everett, Kristine and her husband Jamie Gilmore of Plymouth, David and his wife Suzanne Dziadyk of Salem, Suzanne Dziadyk of Danvers, Mark Dziadyk and Natasha Dziadyk, both of Woburn, Kelley and her husband Elias Kurban of Arlington, Barbara DeMato of Woburn, Lisa and her husband Walter Reed , Gina DeFranco and Matthew DeFranco, all of Peabody, 8 great grandchildren, a half brother, Americo “Ben” Sciucco of Salem, a half sister, Lucia and her husband Francis “Buddy” Casali of Danvers, a sister-in-law, Rose M. and her husband Sam S. Spatafore of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Chafe, Theresa Mekolsky, Rocco Sciucco and Americo Sciucco.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002, at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at St Thomas the Apostle Church, Route 114 on the Salem-Peabody line. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Monday, from 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
