MATARAZZO, Maria D., age 82 of New York City, NY died on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
Devoted sister of Rose Albamont. Dear sister-in-law of Arthur Auletta and Barbara Matarazzo. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Charles Albamont and her siblings: Ida, Fred, Anna and Ciro. Loving aunt of 12 nieces and nephews. Cherished grand aunt of 28 grand nieces and nephews.
Maria was the owner, for over 50 years, of Madora George Michael Salon of Madison Avenue. She was very passionate about her family, her friends, her staff and especially loved helping clients learn about long-hair care.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ on Memorial Day, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service to begin from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 AM and then to St. Joseph’s RCC in Oradell for a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
