New Bedford-Mary Ann (Hopwood) Rogers died April 26, 2004 at the Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the widow of Joseph S. Rogers. She was the mother of the late Josph S. Rogers and William A. Rogers. She was the mother of John Rogers of Lincoln R.I., Robert Rogers of Spanaway,Washington, Richard Rogers, Carol Smith, Nancy Marshall, Mary Rogers, Teresa Cruz, and one step-son Edward Gosselin all from New Bedford Ma. She was the sister of Alice Bieu of New Bedford Ma, and Margaret Perry of California. She was sister of the late Joseph Hopwood, Ann Boyle, Katie Chace, Michael Gregory, Richard Hopwood. She has 14 Grandchild, and 21 Great-Grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in New Bedford. She was the daughter of the late Richard Yates and Ellen (Lally) Hopwood. She was a Homemaker.
Funeral Mass. Will be on Thursday April 29, 2004 at 10 A.M. at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. Visiting hours are Wednesday April 28, 2004 from 6-9 P.M.. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery New Bedford.
