Mr. Jerzek (Jerry) K. Bebyn, age 71, of 50 Spring St. Bellingham, MA, passed away Monday, (May 21, 2012) in Bydgoszcz, Poland while visiting his two brothers who live there. Jerry was born on a family farm in Jabnowo, Poland on April 26, 1941, the ninth child of the late Stanislaw and Katharzyna (Nowak) Bebyn. In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanislaw, Edward and Eugeniusz, along with two sisters Helena Brodowska and Urszula Bebyn.
Jerry immigrated to the United States in the early 1960s and went on to become naturalized as a U.S. citizen. He worked at various tool making job and went on to owning his own company Techfast, Inc. located in East Haven, CT.
After retiring, Jerry moved to Bellingham, MA and had become an active member of St Stanislaw’s Parish in Woonsocket. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Woonsocket Council #113.
Jerry is survived by a daughter Jeanette Aregbesola of Goshen, NY; a son David Bebyn of Bellingham, MA; two sisters Anna Toloski and Donusha Analewicz of Terryville, CT; two brothers, Roman Bebyn and Kazimiesz Bebyn, who resides in Poland and four grandchildren Charlotte Aregbesola of Albany, NY, Charlie Aregbesola of Goshen, NY and Craig and Elizabeth Bebyn of Bellingham, MA.
Jerry’s funeral and burial are going to be held in Rabzyn, Poland where he will be laid to rest alongside his parents. A Pro-Burial Mass for the repose of his soul will celebrated on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00 am in St Stanislaw’s Parish, Harris Ave., in Woonsocket.
