WILDA P. (NODDIN) MARSHALL, of Hingham, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 21st, 2012 at the age of 74. Wilda was a lifelong resident of Hingham and Hull. She was a 1957 graduate of Hingham High School and for 25 years was a service representative for Boston Financial Data Service.
She was the wife of Louis Marshall, Jr. of Hingham and mother of Sheri L. Mehrmann and her husband Bryan of Mendon, Debra J. Driscoll and her husband Paul of Weymouth and Lori A. Sherwin and her husband Todd of Hingham. Sister of Gloria Taylor of No. Kingstown, RI, Vila Anselmo of Arkansas and Merle Noddin of Weymouth. Grandmother of Jennifer LaPreste, Kimberly and Christopher Mehrmann and Ryan and Matthew Sherwin. Great Grandmother of Connor LaPreste.
For many years Wilda has been an active member of the South Shore Baptist Church, corner of Main and Free Sts., Hingham, where her funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 24th at 11 AM.
Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Ovations for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer (www.ovationsforthecure.org), 251 West Central St., Suite 32, Natick, MA 01760.
Interment in the Hull Village Cemetery.
