Obituary

David E. Lebeau, 45, of New Bedford died Friday April 23, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Elvia Acosta-Lebeau.

Born in Acushnet, the son of Edward D. and Jeannette T. (Pelletier) Lebeau of Acushnet, he lived in Acushnet for many years before moving to New Bedford.

He was an active member of the International Church of the Nazarene, where he was involved in community outreach programs and missionary work programs.

Mr. Lebeau was employed as a high speed machine mechanic for the New England Plastics Corporation. He also had previously worked at the Acushnet Process.

He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and attended Bristol Community College. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include his wife and parents; two daughters, Kassondra Lebeau and Kendra Lebeau, both of New Bedford; a son, Wesley Lebeau of New Bedford; two brothers, Bruce Lebeau of Florida and Kenneth Lebeau of Acushnet; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jacoba and Pedro Acosta of Belize; and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 29, 2004 at 10 AM in the International Church of the Nazarene, 284 Pleasant St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday April 28, 2004 from 4-8 PM.
