Eleanor (Parrotta) Melucci, 99, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2012, at the home her caring niece Veronica Paregis in Raynham. She was formerly of the Shawsheen Village section of Andover and was married to the late Dr. Edmond R. Melucci, where they resided for many years. After his passing, she moved to Brockton to live with her sister Florence Harris until recently she moved in with her niece. She was active in the Shawsheen Village Women’s Club, Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Society and the Greater Lawrence Women’s Medical Society.
She was predeceased by her sisters Susan Leone of Andover, Rose Nolan of Brockton, brothers Lawrence Perrotta and Louis Perrotta, both of Brockton. She is survived by her sister Florence Harris and brother Anthony Perrotta, both of Brockton and 13 nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, at 10:30 AM. Many relatives and friends attended.
