Obituary

FRANKLIN—Janet M. (Hilton) McCarron 73, of Franklin, died peacefully, Saturday May 19, 2012 at home surrounded by her family, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of William McCarron.
Born in Boston on January 14, 1939 a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Walsh) Hilton, she had been a resident of Franklin for more than 46 years, and was a former resident of Roslindale.
She was raised and educated in Boston, where she was a graduate of South Boston High School and until her retirement, she worked as a data entry clerk in the pharmaceutical industry.
Janet treasured time spent with her family, being on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and going to the beach. She was also a communicant of St. Brendan’s Church in Bellingham.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her sons; Thomas W. McCarron and his wife Renee of Doylestown, PA, Timothy J. McCarron & William M. McCarron both of Franklin, a brother Joseph Hilton of Norwood, and her twin sister with whom she shared a very special bond with Joyce Smith of Norwood.
Also surviving are her grandchildren; Tara, Jack and Luke McCarron & her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday May 23nd, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Brendan’s Church 384 Hartford Ave. Bellingham, MA 02019 at 10AM. Interment will be held privately.
Calling hours are Tuesday May 22nd, from 5-9PM at the funeral home.
