Fred Cunningham, 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Heritage Manor in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, Georgia, with Rev. Steve Hand officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 Monday evening.
Mr. Cunningham was born April 20, 1929, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late W.D. and Orrie Esther Marks Cunningham. He had lived in the community most of his life having made his home at Heritage Manor in Ocilla for the past few years. He was a retired Machine Operator for Shaw Industries and Modern Fibers and a former employee of Kimball’s Dairy. Mr. Cunningham was a long-time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Mr. Cunningham is survived by one brother: Edgar Eugene Cunningham of Fernandina Beach, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.
