Mrs. Claire C. (Hamel) Waterworth, 66, died Thursday peacefully at her home in Dracut surrounded by her family. Born in Methuen she had been an area resident all her life. The Daughter of the late Phillip and Jeannette (Beaulieu) Hamel Mrs. Waterworth worked at Advantage Health Care Solutions, and was an avid doll collector. She was a member of Mount Carmel Parish till it closed and she joined Saint Monica Parish. Mrs. Waterworth enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts and caring for her garden. Mrs. Waterworth is the mother of the late Amy Waterworth and is survived by her husband John J. Waterworth, four sons: John J. Waterworth Jr, of Pelham, NH, Kevin F. Waterworth and his wife Roberta of Holiday, FL, Scott P. Waterworth and his wife Jacqueline of Ephrata, PA, and Brian T. Waterworth and his wife Lisa of Billerica, MA. Two sisters: Gloria J. and her husband James Miner of Methuen, and Suzanne M. Hamel-Clark of Bedford, MA, three brothers: Richard P. Hamel and his wife Andrea of Salem, NH, Leo O. Hamel of Methuen, and Gerard F. Hamel and his wife Janet of Methuen. There are nine grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Plonowski Funeral Home, 180 Jackson St. Lawrence.
