Irma Russell of Haverhill, MA died Friday night at her home, she was 80 years old. She was born in Ulm, Germany and came to the United States in 1957 to reside in Methuen, MA Mrs. Russell was educated in Germany and had worked for several years as a nurse’s assistant at the German Old Folks Home in Lawrence, MA.
She was the widow of Everett Russell who died in 1991 and mother of the late Johen Zugermayr who died in 2000.

2 daughters, Barbara Gagnon and her husband David of West Palm Beach, Florida Christa Scott and her husband Robert of Haverhill, MA
2 sons, Peter Russell of Lawrence, MA Everett Russell III of Methuen, MA
1 brother, Helmut Frick of Germany
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 cousin who resides in Germany.
Relatives and friends may call Monday from 4-8pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, NH. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 at the funeral home followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
