Anna Cardone passed away on Wednesday, May 9th in Mansfield, Texas. She was 92.
Anna was born in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Cella) Cardone. A Medford resident for much of her life, Anna made her living as a seamstress. Anna was a talented seamstress and loved using this gift for her beloved family. She will be remembered for her keen sense of humor and her love of dogs and baseball. Anna was especially devoted to her family. She was a member of the United Garment Workers Union and will be greatly missed by her family.
The beloved sister of Phyllis Zanti of Arlington, TX, the late Tony Cardone and Theresa Kane, Anna was a devoted aunt to Joe Zanti and his wife Teri of Mansfield, TX; Jo Breen and her husband Pete of Plano, TX; Mary Fagan and her husband Hal; Gen Tetrault and Paul Fusco all of the Villages, FL; Joe Cardone and his wife Linda of West Barnstable; Beatrice Carlson and her husband Chris of Layton, UT; Anthony Cardone of Medford; Patti Quinney and her husband Scott of Haverhill; Francis Cardone and his wife Susan of Groveland. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, May 19th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
