Dorothy C. (Hennrikus) Coughlin, of Plymouth formerly of Newburyport, died on May 11th surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84 at Life Care Center. She is the beloved wife of the late Richard Coughlin and is survived by her son Thomas Coughlin of Plymouth, her stepsons Richard Coughlin of VA and Kevin Durant of Boston, her daughter Theresa Ann Coughlin of MO and her stepdaughters Joan Chisholm of E. Bridgewater, Susan Georges of E. Bridgewater and Reverend Mother Mary Agnes of WA. She also leaves her 11grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Dorothy was born in Lowell and attended Newton Schools and graduated from Sacred Heart in Newton in 1945. She had worked at GH Bent Cookies in Milton for many years. She has lived in Plymouth since 1998 from Newburyport.
A visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, May 16th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 10 to 11 AM followed by a prayer service at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at Belleville Cemetery in Newburyport. In lieu of flowers please donate to Cranberry Hospice of Plymouth.
