She was member of the International Church of the Nazarene.

She was employed as a licensed social worker for New Bedford Child & Family Services and the New Bedford School System.

Mrs. Desroches enjoyed gardening and the beautiful flowers that came from the work of gardening, and sunning at the beach and the ocean. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her Church family, singing in the Church choir and, most of all, she loved Jesus.

Survivors include her husband; her parents; her grandfather, Raoul L'Heureux; a son, Joshua Pimental of New Bedford; a daughter, Lisa Pimental of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Robbin Gregory of New Bedford and Rachel L'Heureux of Wareham; 2 grandchildren, Alexis and Mackenzie Pimental; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2004, at 11 AM in the International Church of the Nazarene, 284 Pleasant Street, New Bedford.
