Marian R. Chapman a lifelong Needham resident died on Thursday April 22 at Avery Manor in Needham. She was 85 years old. Miss Chapman was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1936. She worked for the John Hancock Insurance Co. as an analyst until her retirement in 1993. Miss Chapman was also a longtime member of the Christ Episcopal Church. The beloved daughter of the late Ethel F. (Thompson) and William M. Chapman, she leaves her sister Virginia J. Chapman of Needham. She also leaves her cousin William Thompson of Needham. A Funeral service will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church Chapel 1132 Highland Avenue Needham on Monday April 26 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Sunday from 4-7 PM. Interment at Needham Cemetery.
