Harvie C. Pendergrass, 85, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1927 in Guntersville, Alabama to the late Willie John Pendergrass and Wince A. Ennis Pendergrass. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 2 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 11 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Harvie was a retired route salesman for Keebler Company. He was also a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 64 years, Eva Pendergrass of Clarksville, TN; a son, Ron (Karen) Pendergrass of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Emily Clay of Clarksville, TN and Josh (Emily) Pendergrass of Nashville, TN; and three great grandchildren, Sam Clay, Noah Clay, and Katie Beth Pendergrass.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
