MARION JUNE CROCKETT, 85, passed away on May 5, 2012.
He was a member of Millwright and Carpenters Local Union 1031 for 60 years; a Mason since 1949 with the Masonic Valley Lodge #511; and an Army veteran of WW II.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Crockett.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Benita (Rone) Crockett; his children, Marian Barnes (Gene), Wanda Gagel, Brenda Ellis (Rick), David Crockett and Steve Crockett (Carla); grandchildren, Dominic Helton, Jason Gagel, Stephanie Brown (Mike), Adam Dorsey (Katie), Brad Ellis (Katie), Christina Moller, Jessica Hand (Brad) Cody Barnes (Samantha) and Chelsea Barnes; great grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Leland, Maddie and Raley; his brother Frank “Buster” Crockett; sisters, Beulah Skinner and Bonnie Marshall; and sister-in-law, Emma Lou Crockett.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with a Masonic service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
