Obituary

Pendleton, Maurice Eugene "Coach Mr. P", 75, passed away May 4, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a member of the former St. Polycarp Catholic Church. He retired from Reliance Univeral as a truck driver. He was commited to a lifetime of service. He served as a Special Forces Army Ranger, a lifetime booster for St. Polycarp Booster Club, and basketball coach for 30 years to generations of south end players. He was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, Jack of all trades Master of all, and loved the Rough River lakefront community.

He was devoted and dedicated to his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn A. (Bedan) Pendleton; children, Sandra Pendleton Breit, Carl Pendleton, and Steven Pendleton; grandchildren, Aleisha, Marissa, Halee, and Kaden; brothers, Robert, Byron, and Danny Pendleton; sisters, Betty Carol and Claudia; and always family, Leisa, Harmony, Christi, Jack, Leslie, Doug, Jeff, Zach, Tanner, Tyler, Aaron, Nancy, Mary, Jeff, Lisa, Andy, LeAnne, Louise, Phyllis, Deneen, Tonja, Nicole, Cody, Kelsea, and Jeremy.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be Sunday 11-8, Monday 2-8 and Tuesday 9am until the service at 11.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Andrews Academy Athletic Club.
