Evans – Mrs. Dorothy M. Davis, 72, beloved wife of Darrell “Al” Davis, entered into rest on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM at The Sanctuary Church with the Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow at Evans Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Deborah Burton, Thomas L. Burton, Jr., Deborah Cox and her husband, Eddie, Darlene Solomon and her husband, Eddie, Cynthia Boyd, and Deanna Kelly, a brother, Arlington “Bubba” Milford, Jr. and wife Lynda, a sister, Janet Childree, as well as 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlington and Jennette Milford, and a grandson, Kato Jemison.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
