Obituary

Pauline M. (Dextradeur) Parker, 82, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on Friday May 4, 2012 at the Royal of Fairhaven. She was the wife of Ernest Brownell Parker, Jr.; they had been married for 61 years.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph Alfred and Marie Rose (Gadbois) Dextradeur, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.

Mrs. Parker operated the Pauline Parker School of Dance for many years.

She will be remember for her patience and kindness to her family and her many students over the years.

Her family would like to thank the staff of the Royal of Fairhaven and Southcoast Hospice for the wonderful care given to Pauline throughout her illness.

Survivors include her husband; three children, Heidi Parker Catelli and her husband James of Westport, Kimberly Parker Lawton and her husband Arthur of Fairhaven, and Jeremy Parker and his wife Melissa of Dartmouth; two sisters, Therese Tripanier of Acushnet and Sr. Mary of Lourdes of Fairhaven; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Parker Reardon of Dartmouth; five grandchildren, Randy Parker, Jay Catelli, Cory Catelli, Ross Parker, and Emmie Parker; and a great-grandson Austin Parker.

She was the mother of the late Randall Parker.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet.
