Mary E. (Sullivan) Demsky, 90, of New Bedford died May 2, 2012.
She was the wife of the late William J. Demsky, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Cornelius J. and Elizabeth T. (Hurley) Sullivan, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Demsky was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Holy Name Society.
She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her sister, Katherine Sullivan of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Cornelius Sullivan and John Sullivan.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford Monday, May 7th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, May 6th from 2-4 PM.
