SPENCER;Doris I. (Frigon) Cournoyer 80 of 29 Cherry St., died Tuesday, April 20 at Radius Healthcare Center in Worcester. She was the wife of Norman W. Cournoyer who died in 1993. She leaves two sons, Paul N. husband of Christine Cournoyer of Spencer and Richard A. husband of Cynthia Cournoyer of White House Station, N.J., two gandaughters Ann M. Kingsland of Derry, N.Y. and Judith C. Gallant of Paxton, two brothers Delano and Joseph Frigon both of Spencer and two sisters Ruth Pulchtapek and Mabel Pulchtapek both of Ware, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by four brothers, Henry, Albert,Donat and Paul Frigon and four sisters Theresa Frigon, Blanche Johnson, Evelyn Salvatore and Irene Higgins.Mrs. Cournoyer was a store clerk for many years at the family owned Cournoyer's Market in Spencer, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and a volunteer for the Tri Valley Meals Program.Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Frank and Sadie (Terroy) Frigon.The funeral will be held Thursday, April 22 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St.,Spencer. Burial will be in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Wednesday, Apr. 21 from 6 to 8p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary,Queen of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 60 Maple St., Spencer 01562.
