
WAYLAND: Angela “Lee” (Romano) Passalacqua, 94, formerly of Framingham and Elm, NJ died peacefully on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
She was born on November 12, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA to first generation Italians from Messina, Italy, the late Maria (Ilacqua) Romano and Anthony Romano.
She was the beloved wife of the late Louis C. Passalacqua who died in May of 1980. Loving mother of Lois Paul and her husband Kenneth Paul of Wayland, MA; Charles Passalacqua of York, PA and the late Joan Passalacqua Beard formerly of Moorestown, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Katherine, Tyler and Carter Paul. Beloved aunt of 27 Romano and Passalacqua nieces and nephews and step-grandmother of the Casey family in Collingswood, NJ.
Angela was a retired beautician from Philadelphia and moved to the Boston area in 2006. She has resided in Wayland for several years and formerly resided in Framingham and Elm, NJ.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherins Church, 99 Main St (Rte 27) Wayland.
At the request of her family there will be no funeral home visitations.
A private burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ for her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in care of Sara Cain to the activities fund of the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 188 Commonwealth Rd, Wayland, MA 01778, a warm and caring private nursing home that made her last year happy and peaceful.
