Eddie Carver, 61, of Fitzgerald, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Medical Center Of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, May 3, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Carver was born November 25, 1950 in Chatsworth, GA to the late Hoyt C. and Robbie Osborne Carver. He lived in Fitzgerald most of his life, retiring from Windstream. Mr. Carver served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era. He was a member of Crossview Baptist Church and the Kiwanis. Mr. Carver was an avid golfer and bowler.
He is survived by his fiancee’, Suzanne Crown of Ocilla; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry & Peggy Carver, Travis Carver and Randall Carver & Barbara Coyle, all of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine & Donnie Burnette of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wendell, Don and Tony Carver.
