Kathy Williamson Busbin, 53, of McRae, Georgia, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 2 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Robert Chaudoin officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Busbin was born August 10, 1958 in Greenville, SC to the late Floyd David and Josephine Branson Williamson. She moved to McRae in 2003 from Fitzgerald, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1976. Mrs. Busbin was a former employee of Walmart Distribution Center. She was a big supporter of the Relay For Life and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Busbin of McRae; son and daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Leigh Ann Hendley, Jr., of Fitzgerald; daughters and son-in-law, Tosha & Jeremy Martin and Kayla Lynn Hudson of McRae; grandchildren, Michael Lane Hendley, Lucy Belle Hendley and Brett David Martin; sister, Debbie (Topper) Hartness of Greenville, SC; brother, Mike (Rose) Hudson of Columbia, SC and her stepmother, Bettye Williamson of Atlanta.
The family requests that memorials may be made to the Relay For Life.
