Elaine M. Stepanishen (Turchinetz) age 71 of Canton & W. Dennis passed away at home April 30th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, she grew up in W. Roxbury and attended Boston Schools. She has lived in Canton since 1961 where she worked as a Nurses Aid at the Hellenic Nursing Home. She summered in W. Dennis for many years and was a member of the W. Dennis Yacht Club. Beloved wife of the late William. Mother of William of Canton, Steven & his wife Carolyn of Littlerock, AR & Kristine of Centerville. Daughter of Mary Turchinetz of Plymouth. Sister of George Turchinetz & his wife MaryAnn of Plymouth, Claudia Ross & her husband Thomas of Foxboro & Audrey Reardon of Worcester. Grandmother of Lindsey, Tawney, Ryan, Abel & Valerie Stepanishen. Also survived by her son Steven’s grandchildren Zaylen and Shyla. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10:30.
