TEWKSBURY: Rose Marie (Lenzi) Boyer, age 73, a resident of Tewksbury for 48 years, died Monday, April 19, 2004 at her home, following a long illness with (COPD) Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
She was the wife of Frank J. Boyer, Jr. with whom she would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on September 8th.
Born in Concord, Mass on July 8, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Lillian (DeFrancesco) Lenzi.
Mrs. Boyer was raised and married in East Boston.
She resided in East Boston until moving to Tewksbury in 1956.
Mrs. Boyer was a communicant of Saint Williams Parish of Tewksbury.
She loved dancing, cross word puzzles, sewing and soaps.
Mrs. Boyer will best be remembered as having devoted her life to her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 5 children; Arlene Brooks of Townsend, Joyce Sabato and her husband Dr. Joseph Sabato of Windham, NH, Richard Boyer and his wife Colleen (Murphy) of Merrimac, NH, James Boyer and his wife Tina (French) of Leominster and Linda Amico and her husband Robert of Nashua, NH; 10 grandchildren; Jennifer Arruda and her husband Jay, Krista and Sheryl Brooks all of Townsend, Joseph Sabato of Maryland, Frank, Anthony and Christopher Sabato all of Windham, NH, Mary and Marjorie Boyer both of Merrimac and Benjamin Boyer of Leominster; 1 sister; Julia (Lenzi) Hatch and her husband Richard of Braintree; 1 brother; Edward Lenzi and his dear friend Susan of Windham, NH; her aunt; Florence (Lenzi) Beland of Maynard; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous cousins.
Calling hours Friday 4-8 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral Saturday at 8 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery.
