Cicero, Francesca (Chiulli) of Braintree, formerly of Brockton, passed away April 20, 2012 at the age of 63. Devoted wife of John A. Cicero originally of Kingston MA, loving daughter of Anthony F. Chiulli of Braintree. Beloved sister of Carl Chiulli of the Philippines, Elizabeth Lane of Milton MA, Margaret Ross of Henderson NV, Stephen Chiulli of Albuquerque NM, Catherine Guay of Westfield MA, Marian Cyman of Rincon GA, Teresa Chiulli of Quincy MA and Janet Noska of Weymouth MA.
Mrs. Cicero was a laboratory technician in the healthcare industry for many years and earned her advanced degree from Cambridge College.
A gifted craftsperson and artist, Fran used her time and talents in many volunteer projects. She was ever at the ready to help out: her good works were constant and numerous despite her physical limitations. They included CCD instruction, volunteering for the Pine Street Inn and her parish food pantry by baking, delivering and performing administrative tasks. Fran was a compassionate visitor of the sick and enthusiastically gave of herself to support others. Her most passionate cause was creating handcrafted greeting cards for US troops to send to their loved ones.
A celebration of her life on Saturday, May 5 will begin with a Mass at St. Thomas More Church, Braintree at 10:00AM and will be followed by a gathering at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 875 Washington Street, Braintree until 1:00 PM.
